Bears come up short!

Coming up just short seems to be the theme for the Chicago Bears this season as they fall once again by 3 or less points. The Bears came up one play short against the Denver Broncos and lost a defensive battle 17-15.

With the Broncos without star quarterback Peyton Manning, the Bears were looking to capitalize on his absence and get a win that plan didn't go so well. Although, the Bears' defense played well and kept them in the game, the Broncos defense played just as good. Chicago's offense didn't see the end zone until :24 left in the ball game when Jeremy Langford scored from two yards out.
The Denver defense showed why they are the number one ranked defense in the NFL, but it didn't help that the Bears were missing three key players on offense as they played without Matt Forte, Alshon Jefferey, and Eddie Royal. Without those three the Bears didn't show too much life on offense and had to settle for just three Robbie Gould field goals on their first 10 possessions.
Six of the last seven games for the Bears have been decided by three or less points and the ones they have lost have been by 3, 3, and 2.
The Bears head to Lambeau Field on Thanksgiving night to face off against the Packers in a divisional rivalry game!

Bear down!
